The Company:   A successful, fast-growing and highly accredited (award-winning)  specialist business services company.

The Role:   A newly-created position, reporting to Director level, to develop and implement the digital marketing, lead generation, sales pipeline and customer acquisition strategy. The Company envisages that the natural career progression for the successful candidate in this pivotal role will be a board appointment within 2-3 years, or even sooner if performance/results dictate.    

Key responsibilities:

  • Online and offline B2B campaigns built on inbound leads generated from referrals, exhibitions, online enquiries and affiliate marketing programmes etc.
  • ‘Hands-on’ ownership of the technical aspects of the lead generation activities –the SEO, Adwords, PPC, e-shots, targeted advertising, split-testing, KPI and campaign analysis etc.
  • Ongoing development of the digital marketing and social media channel strategy relating to all lead-gen’, sales-pipeline, proposition, sector targeting, CRM and partnerships.
  • Management of the ‘softer’ marketing activities such as PR, brand, communications, events and sales promotions etc.
  • Supervision/management of a small but growing marketing team.
  • Instruct, direct and liaise with marketing suppliers/agencies, as required.
  • Provide a key input into the Company’s overall commercial planning process within the senior management team

The Ideal Candidate will be an accomplished and experienced B2B campaigns marketer with a relevant qualification (CIM Digital Diploma or ‘Google Squared’ certified etc).  In order to be considered you must be able to demonstrate a track record of digital marketing, lead-generation and commercial management success within a competitive, robust and challenging B2B sector. A dynamic, self-starting and entrepreneurial personality is essential to succeed in this position (perhaps even a bit of a ‘maverick’) – i.e. somebody with the ability to occasionally think outside the box and explore/identify new opportunities, angles and solutions - sometimes acting creatively or without a precedent.

This potentially career-defining role – with a clear path to a place on the board for the successful applicant - is based in south Yorkshire, within easy reach of the M1, M19 and M62.
