The COMPANY: A highly dynamic SME which has attained considerable success in the specialist business services field. The firm is about to embark on a new exciting phase of development driven by legislative and compliance changes in the industry.

The ROLE: Reporting to the board and key investors, this is a pivotal role whi

ch will define and manage the (mainly digital-centric) marketing activities of the company. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, manage and deliver all online, digital and email marketing promotions - including campaign measurement, SEO, PPC, web content and affiliate programmes.
• Take ownership of the firm’s CRM database and all marketing campaigns run from it
• Manage the company’s marketing communications, offline and online - including promotional literature and website content management etc
• Contribute to the strategic marketing plan, its roll-out and delivery
• Manage the marketing activity budget
• Regularly report to the board on marketing/campaign performance and business KPIs
• Make a key contribution to monthly sales/marketing strategy meetings.

The IDEAL CANDIDATE will be a creative marketer with the experience and vision to execute thecompany’s business strategy and the strength of character to drive the plan forward. Required:
• A marketing-based degree and/or the holder of a post-grad’ CIM, IDM or digital marketing qualification
• A strong understanding of digital marketing tools and processes in the areas of CRM, data handling and segmentation, e-marketing (eg: HubSpot, Dotmailer), PPC, SEO and social media aggregation
• The ability to run dynamic marketing campaigns via assorted channels - email, social media (especially Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin etc), online and print publications, accountancy/legal profession websites and various other related forums.
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant campaign delivery experience - B2C or B2B - perhaps in a membership services, training or 'umbrella/professional body’ organisation.
• Strong data-management and CRM experience, B2C and/or B2B.
• Strong copywriting skills, with a concise and economical writing style suited to online content.
• Familiarity with professional services (accountancy or law) - or perhaps prior experience within the higher education sector - is desirable but not essential.
• A dynamic, purposeful and productive work style, able to multi-task effectively under pressure in a small and closely-knit team.
• A positive 'can-do’ attitude, able to communicate effectively with senior management, staff and clients/customers alike.
