The Organisation: Our client is leading, long-established and high-profile industry membership organisation and representative body.

The purpose of The Role, which reports to the Regional Board, is to provide a wide variety of marketing, event and membership support. Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver assorted marketing activity including online and offline content, promotional material, e-newsletters, and (possibly) short videos for the website.
  • Create event feedback forms and follow-up communications collateral as required.
  • Work alongside senior colleagues to develop the social media strategy and manage the key digital/social channels for the NW region.
  • Manage the region’s CRM database and update event bookings and other activities.
  • Act as the first point of contact for membership enquiries and head office liaison.
  • Provide regular management reports on digital campaigns and CRM KPIs etc.
  • Attend regional events, ‘meet and greet’ and provide support/liaison for colleagues.
  • Other administrative and marketing activities as required.

The Ideal Candidate will be a graduate in Marketing, Digital Media, English or Events, although other degrees will also be considered.  A minimum of 12 months' prior B2B marketing, events or administration experience  is essential, ideally (but not necessarily) in a representative body or membership organisation.  To be considered you must have strong all-round social media, digital marketing, Powerpoint and CRM/database management skills allied to excellent written English.  First class interpersonal skills are necessary as you will be dealing with members, suppliers and affiliates.  Due to the broad scope of the remit you will need to be flexible, highly-organised and even-tempered under pressure.  A strong working knowledge of PremierePro or Final Cut would be an advantage.

Occasional out-of-normal-hours work may be necessary (attendance at events etc) but time off is given in lieu. 

The role is available from early December 2018. Priority will therefore be given to candidates who are able to start on or before Monday 10-December.
