Marketing Project Delivery Manager

south Manchester

£35k + bonus

The Firm:  Our client is a prominent full-service agency with a strong digital pedigree and a niche sector (national) specialism.

The Role: A full Account/Project Management remit, reporting to board level, supervising and coordinating the delivery of client assignment work. Key Responsibilities:

  • Account handling: taking a client brief and representing the company in a positive, proactive and professional manner on the scheduling and delivery, thereby building long-term collaborative business relationships.
  • Pitches:  Participate - and occasionally lead - the pitch process.
  • Project management:  Assignments are normally very process-driven and there are typically elements of (variously) digital, design, brand, strategy, communications, research and presentation involved.
  • Supervise and direct a dedicated support team.
  • Attend and contribute to regular management meetings and project reviews etc.
  • Represent the firm at corporate events, client functions and exhibitions etc.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A bright and purposeful graduate with a relevant marketing-based degree (can include communications, economics, business or digital marketing). Strong candidates with degrees in other subjects such as Social Studies or English will also be considered on merit.
  • A minimum 3 years' post-grad' marketing experience involving project management, ideally with a creative agency (PR, comms, SP, design, digital, full-service) - although strong candidates from a B2B client-side marketing background would also be of interest.
  • Well-organised, process-driven and client-facing, with a cool temperament and excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
  • Dynamic, self-starting and a 'finisher' - composed and able to multi-task effectively under pressure

This is a superb career opportunity for the right candidate - providing experience, autonomy, entrepreneurial scope and  excellent earning potential. A competitive starting salary is supplemented by a company bonus and personal performance bonus scheme. Benefits include gym membership, private health insurance and a company pension scheme. As the firm has accounts in London and elsewhere in the UK, occasional travel to client meetings will be necessary.
