Our Client: A highly successful marketing organisation working in the music and media industry, creating strategic brand alliances between FTSE 100 and blue-chip organisations and the entertainment sector. Clients include some of the world's premier FMCG, electronics and automotive industry brands. 

The Role: A vacancy has arisen for a high-achieving BD professional to lead the agency’s acquisition of new clients, operating alongside the MD. You will manage a small but dynamic new business team and lead the corporate bid process internationally.

The Ideal Candidate will have a proven track record of success delivering strategic alliances with major organisations, ideally in a media, advertising or entertainment industry context. Acute commercial acumen and a passion for marketing and brand development are crucial as is, preferably (but not essentially) a keen personal interest in the music industry. The ability to leverage partnerships through digital and online content (and also live events, post-COVID) - plus a sound understanding of the latest music/streaming technologies and channels - would be distinct advantages. 
 
It is unlikely that the chosen candidate will have less than three years' successful corporate B2B and 'big-pitch' sales experience. 

In addition to the above you will of course need to display the interpersonal skills, maturity, gravitas and tenacity/dynamism to lead this critical process in the Company. The potential rewards for the chosen candidate are considerable, including the prospect of a board position.
